Started buying these in 2018 for Peru. They were sooo good. Lightweight, cotton mix, with a pocket on the left for a reasonable sized phone (note 8) and two other concealed zip pockets in the legs useful when travelling for passports and paperwork so they are handy when going through airports or even when walking about abroad in towns and cities. They are so comfortable. I have found in particular when you squat down (say on a trail to look at something), the knees don't seem to catch due to the design. As I am out doing wildlife photography and general light reserve maintenance the pockets just seem to work for me there too. There is a knife pocket on the right leg but I have found it will hold a pair of secateurs! And the rear pockets are also deep enough.

But due to list price and general availability especially khaki in the UK I find myself repairing my old ones. The hand pocket edges tend to go first along with the coin pockets. But otherwise perfect for me.

They are a great fit, really comfy, loads of practical pockets, quick to dry and great movement.

saw these trousers in a shop but they did not have my size. i found the store on line and had some difficulty finding my size and option i wanted and mailed for help. the help was spot on and what i wanted was easily found and many more options were provided. i placed my order late on a sunday evening and they arrived wednesday morning. the fit is great and i am really pleased both with the service(thank you Jane, details provided excellent and out of hours in the traditional sense) and the product.
